Yale and Stanford-trained physician, Dr. Anand completed neurology, neuro-infectious disease, and neuroimmunology training at Johns Hopkins and Massachusetts General. Now an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Boston University and clinician at Boston Medical Center, her work has been likened by Dr. Anupam Jena to that of Pulitzer Prize–winner Siddhartha Mukherjee. Her book, blending history, memoir, and clinical insight, offers poetic stories of the brain, its mysteries, and its impact on our lives—an inspiring reminder of our shared humanity.
