Extracurricular

Extracurricular activities typically take place outside of the regular school day, either before or after school, or at times, over the lunch time in place of recess. These activities can change from year to year and vary from school to school.  For more information, contact the teacher listed in charge or the school front office.

Academic Support Club With teacher recommendations, students receive additional academic support. Ms. Walker
Basketball (4th) Fourth grade girls, fourth grade boys. Practices vary. After school games where K-5 schools play against one another.   Mr. Carollo

Board Games Club Students learn and play board games. Ms. Perez
Cheerleading Students practice and cheer for after-school basketball games. Mrs. McNett
Chorus Club Students will rehearse and perform vocal arrangements. Ms. Perez
Digital Storytellers Students learn the basics of moviemaking. Mrs. Pryzbylski
Destination Imagination A worldwide creative, team-focused, STEAM competition. District 70 students from K-8 start out competing regionally, then can advance to the state level, and then may reach the global competition.   Ms. Walker
Intramural Sports A variety of intramural sports may be offered.  Mr. Carollo
LEGO in the Library Students collaborate to build LEGO designs. Ms. Carr

Maker Monday

Limited only by their imagination, students explore, design, build and tinker with a variety of available materials. Ms. Carr
Newspaper Students design, create and publish the Adler Express newspaper. Mrs. Marsh & Ms. Walker
Study Hall With teacher recommendations, students may attend study hall to complete unfinished work. Mrs. Gasick
Talent Show Students perform a variety of acts to display their talents.  Mrs. Koenig
